How You Can Unravel Your Soul Contract With Tarot
If you do not believe in soul contracts, you can disregard!
If you had read some of my stuff from when I began writing here, you know that I have had some horrific challenges that I have had to endure.
I do not like calling myself a "survivor" because I loathe labels like that and can be very picky about semantics.
But, here is the thing, I just had this inner feeling that the middle name I was given at birth caused me to attract much of the trauma I endured. Sounds silly?
It is not nearly as silly as one would think. Your name and birthday contain vibrations based on numerology, impacting you whether you like it or not.
Anyway, I felt I needed some confirmation to my suspicions, as I had a reading with a soul contract reader, which was helpful as she not only confirmed that my original middle name at birth did not serve me well but also said that the best thing I did was change it.
I wrote about my experience in detail on Medium, and you can read it here:
Your Birth Name Shapes Your Destiny Whether You Like It Or Not
However, you may need clarification on the deal with soul contracts. So let's talk about that.
What is a Soul Contract?
"Soul contracts" is a term used in spirituality and metaphysics to refer to agreements between souls before incarnating into physical bodies.
The idea is that before you are born, you agree with other souls and the Universe about the experiences you want to have and the lessons you want to learn during your lifetime.
These contracts can involve relationships with specific individuals and opportunities for growth and learning.
The purpose of soul contracts is to help you learn, grow, and evolve spiritually. Your ego will not have it, but unfortunately, it is out of the question.
Some people believe that soul contracts are predestined and that your life unfolds according to these agreements, while others believe that you have free will and can choose whether or not to fulfill your soul contracts.
Ultimately, the concept of soul contracts is a way of understanding the interconnectedness of all things and the deeper purpose and meaning behind your life experiences.
Not everyone believes in soul contracts, and I firmly believe that people must follow their truth. If they do not believe
in it, they are on a path that is not open to it, which is okay.
I once questioned it until I learned more about it. I have the perfect soul contract tarot spread to share.
Soul Contract Tarot Spread
It is a six-card tarot spread.
The first card shows your soul contract's primary nature and karma.
The second card indicates the primary lessons and challenges.
The third card shows your current awareness.
The fourth card shows the areas of your life that require more work.
The fifth card indicates the karma you have already balanced and the work you have done to move past the lessons.
The sixth card shows the final challenges you must meet, such as finally cutting ties with those who no longer serve you.
Why don't you try it? Or if not, I would love to do a reading for you, but very soon, I will be doing readings full-time as I will be moving to two platforms where I will be doing the work. I will keep you updated regarding those

I am not sure how I feel about soul contracts, but I am not opposed to the idea. I have been thinking a lot about incarnation lately, as I deepen my connection with my ancestry and druidry. Some ideas there are that we live here and when we die, we live in the other world until we either die there or choose to incarnate back in this world. That choose part has me asking a lot of questions. I will give this a shot as I am unpacking my relationship with these ideas.
I'm giving this a try this morning, Miriam. Thank you!! Which platforms are you switching to?? xoxo
